Been watching the new growth on my orchid with excitement. Today I learned that orchids don’t grow like that. I’m now even more intrigued to see what happens with it next.

It’s rare, but sometimes it will sprout again. That’s why I tell folks to not be so anxious to cut off spent flower stalks. Very cool, Siobhan! You’re doing something right!
Thanks, Amy! I water it as directed and talk to it and got very with the new sprout. It’s definitely getting the love. (I’m not generally good with houseplants, so this is some kind of excitement for me. I look forward to seeing how this grows and blooms.)
