Transform: The First Steps

Today I am breathing more deeply and easily. All the Christmas decorations have been put away for another year and the living room has been returned to it’s open, airy state. Relief! (Thank you, Melanie! You are a blessing.) Something happens at the beginning of a new year, with the opening up of spaces, and the ideas begin to flow. This year, I am planning to transform (yep, there’s that one little word again, you’ll be hearing a lot of it this year, I think) the closet in my bedroom that is continually dripping clothes from the limited shelves to the floor, my office which I hope to become an artist’s studio, and the space over the mantel in the the living room. Stay tuned for glimpses of the transformation as the steps take place.

There was a little extra excitement at our weekly outing to Skyline Chili tonight. The Columbus Blue Jackets’s mascot, Stinger, paid the kids a visit. All the little ones were excited to high five and get their pictures taken with the giant bee. My kiddos were no exception.
