Spring has sprung indeed, and that left us with a mess in the wildflower garden. Grass, last year’s dried out growth, dandelions, and more grass. I enlisted my number one weeding partner and we set to work.
Almost two hours later, no more grass, no more weeds. Space for the flowers to grow and spread out. I cannot wait to see what wonders this year’s wildflowers bring.
And I finally found a way to capture a little bit of the redbud forest, too.
After the work, time for some play time. The girls had a blast learning to fly their kites. Just enough wind, lots of sunshine, and some sisterly cooperation. What could be better than this?
