Little Bit wanted to go to the skate park over the weekend. She would have liked to have been doing tricks, but it was her first time at the park. It had turned cold on Saturday, but the sun stayed out for a little while.

She finally rode one of the inclines. Even that was much faster than you’d expect.

About ten minutes after we left, the snow flurries began. Even though nothing stuck but the low temps, I am not ready for more winter yet. I may not be alone in that sentiment. I’ve seen quite a bit of this little guy, lately. Today it doesn’t have a mouthful, but I’ve caught it carrying and stashing nuts around the yard.

Our squirrels are busy with the nuts, too – but it’s the birds that are the real piggies. Blue Jays, Cardinals, sparrows, chickadees. We’re supposed to get some other varieties with the seed types we have out. And woodpeckers after the suet. We’ll see who comes.
